Job Title : Production Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented candidates to assist with production work. The role requires individuals who can effectively contribute to the manufacturing process by performing various tasks related to production and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Scrape the sides of the drums.
- Organize the work areas.
- Assist with the production of batches.
- Monitor machines' RPM and temperature.
- Clean totes and bins on the shop floor.
- Assist with cleaning and organizing the warehouse.
- Move materials and products throughout the plant floor, including liquid drums.
- Run production processes.
- Package paint products.
- Operate a forklift as needed.
- Dump materials into the drums as required.

Work Environment
The manufacturing floor is a dynamic and organized space, although it is not climate-controlled. Expect hot conditions during the summer and cold temperatures in the winter. The environment has a distinct paint smell and constant movement of hi-los. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, with support from a supervisor.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr.
