General Laborer / Plumbing Apprentice

American Leak Detection is looking for a highly motivated, independent worker to join our team as a General Laborer. Great candidates will be mechanically inclined, comfortable with learning and using new technology, and also be ready to work outside in all weather conditions. This position requires intermittent, often heavy, physical labor. We provide paid training, all the tools needed to perform your job duties, and also a company vehicle for business use.

Suction lines

Return lines

Jet lines

Skimmers

Light concrete work

Required Qualifications :

Valid California Driver’s License

Clean driving record

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Ability to move / lift up to 100 pounds

Must be able to swim

Experience using power tools

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently

Neat, professional appearance

Must be able to meet physical labor requirements

Preferred Qualifications :

Familiarity with leak detection or pool plumbing system, pumps, pop-up cleaning systems

Mechanical / electronics background

Willing to train motivated candidate

Education Level : High School or equivalent

Wage : $17-$20 / hour negotiable with experience. Opportunity to become a technician and be paid considerably more through commission is available.
