Project Manager / Business Lead

Selectek is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Business Lead to oversee and expand operations in civil engineering, transportation, airport, and construction inspection / testing services. This leadership position is ideal for a Professional Engineer with strong technical expertise and proven success in project and business development.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage civil, transportation, airport, and construction inspection / testing projects.
  • Develop and execute project plans including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Prepare proposals, manage client accounts, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Drive business development and growth in the Nashville region through client relationship management.
  • Provide leadership and direction to field and lab staff, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to ASTM, AASHTO, Tennessee DOT, and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) standards.

Qualifications :

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (required).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, transportation, airport, and material testing.
  • Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, Tennessee DOT, and CMT standards.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication, proposal writing, and client development skills.
