About The Team :

You will be joining CookUnity's Content & Creator team. We're reimagining the customer experience to be more immersive and chef-centric—bringing rich content, short-form video, and storytelling to the forefront of how users discover meals and connect with our creators. Our mission is to transform the platform from a utility into an experience that celebrates culinary creativity and deepens engagement with our chef community.

The Role :

We're looking for a seasoned Staff React Native Engineer to join our Content & Creator team. In this role, you'll be embedded in a cross-functional feature team, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and fellow engineers to deliver rich, high-impact user experiences. You'll help shape the future of our user-facing platform—driving technical excellence, championing best practices, and leading initiatives that push the boundaries of interactivity, performance, and visual storytelling. Your work will play a key role in evolving CookUnity into a more content-forward, immersive, and chef-centric platform.

Responsibilities :

• Build and ship high-quality, engaging, user-facing features across our mobile and web apps.
• Champion performance, reliability, and code quality across the React Native codebase.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to define and implement exceptional user experiences.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers, helping elevate engineering standards across the team.

Compensation All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Pay Range for this position

$200,000—$220,000 USD
