Clean background and Drug Test Familiarity with SQF, SAP, Six Sigma, GMP, and other relevant standards and regulations preferred. Must have a strong understanding of food safety requirements. Ability to operate measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM machines) preferred. Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP preferred. Ability to read and understand the metric system. Experience in a food or beverage laboratory setting is a plus. Prior experience as a Quality Control Technician, Quality Assurance Technician, Laboratory Technician, Food Safety Technician, or similar roles is a plus. Perform chemical and physical analysis on raw materials, finished batches, and packaging materials to ensure product quality. Conduct audits on finished products and packaging integrity to ensure they meet customer and regulatory standards. Perform process control checks on equipment (e.g., seal, closure torque, can seam) to maintain proper operation. Stop production immediately if food safety concerns arise and alert management to resolve the issue. Maintain accurate records of all tests and inspections, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory reporting requirements.
