Job Description
As a Security Officer - Logistics Screening Agent in Tracy, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communicate clearly with visitors and team members. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs ariseResponsibilities :
Carry out security-related screening procedures for personnel and / or vehicles entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location.Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with visitors, employees, and delivery personnel, addressing questions and offering assistance as needed.Follow site-specific policies, post orders, and security-related protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and the logistics and distribution location.Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach, escalating issues as appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor access points and maintain accurate logs of individuals entering and leaving the location.Support emergency response activities as required by site protocols, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns if necessary.Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related needs and concerns.What We're Looking For :
