About The Position

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our advanced imaging team. As an MRI Tech, you will play a crucial role in capturing high-quality diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and vascular disorders.

Your primary responsibilities include preparing patients for MRI procedures, ensuring proper positioning, selecting appropriate imaging parameters, operating MRI equipment, and ensuring patient safety-especially in relation to magnetic field exposure. You will also be responsible for screening patients for contraindications, administering contrast materials when necessary, and maintaining accurate imaging records.

This role demands strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will need to create a calming, reassuring environment for patients who may be anxious, in pain, or unfamiliar with MRI technology. Adhering to strict safety and imaging protocols is essential to your success in this position.

Requirements and Qualifications

BLS certification
