About the role

The leadership for this position will extend beyond technical excellence into product ownership. The Mobile Lead will be expected to think and act like a product owner - making decisions that balance technical feasibility, user experience, and business impact. This includes driving product vision, shaping priorities, and often taking the lead in defining “what” should be built, not just “how.” The right candidate will bring judgment and initiative to guide the team in delivering high-quality mobile experiences that align with both user needs and company goals.

Our primary technology stack includes React Native and TypeScript. For project management, we utilize Linear, employ GitHub for our code review processes, and rely on Slack for consistent daily communication.

This is a remote position open to candidates worldwide. Employment classification and engagement structure will be determined based on location, legal requirements, and mutual fit.

For this journey, you will

Elevate team capabilities through your energy, engineering talent, product vision, hard work, and commitment.

Take responsibility for features and projects, overseeing all stages from conception to implementation

Help define requirements, shape priorities, and make trade-offs that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

Lead initiatives to optimize our mobile signup and purchase processes through strategic A / B testing.

Seek and incorporate feedback early and often in the development process.

Enhance product onboarding processes for a diverse user base

Enhance user interfaces for growth-focused product pages, including pricing and onboarding enhancements.

Advance our tracking and experimental frameworks.

Develop and integrate mobile attribution frameworks to evaluate marketing effectiveness.

Commit to test-driven development, ensuring widespread coverage and stability across client interfaces.

Design adaptable, easily maintainable components, ready for evolving requirements.

Qualifications and skills

Comprehensive understanding of mobile technologies, including React Native, Redux, and Redux Sagas.

Minimum 5 years of professional programming experience, ideally in mobile app development using React Native and Redux.

Passion for developing automated tests that mimic real user interactions.

Proficiency in consuming and proposing designs for RESTful APIs.

Comfortable with Git and proficient in pull request workflows.

Advocate for simplistic, efficient, and clean solutions.

Commitment to delivering excellent user experiences, with a focus on performance and app stability.

Eagerness to learn and adept at self-education through documentation and tutorials.

Ownership mindset, with attentiveness to bug resolution, documentation, and scope refinement.

Skilled in balancing various aspects like performance, customer value, code quality, and dependencies.

Inclination towards proactive communication, providing regular updates and transparent progress reports.

Strong focus on UI implementation details.

Desirable skills

Experience with TypeScript.

Background in native mobile development (Java / Swift)
