Job Title : Mechanical Project Manager

Duration : Direct Hire

Location : Plano, TX

Shift : 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM

Note : Those Candidates who can work on W2 on basis without any sponsorship are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

  • Manage all financial aspects of HVAC construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with the General Superintendent to align labor hours and manpower with project goals.
  • Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or conflicts.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Support procurement and delivery of HVAC equipment and materials.
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.

Previous Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC project management, with a focus on air and water side systems.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC mechanical systems, including ductwork, AHUs, VAVs, chilled / hot water piping, pumps, and coils.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore), Blue beam Revu, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
