Requirements  Robert Wood Johnson- Clara Maas Hospital needs a Pediatric Hospitalist for coverage as soon as credentialed.

• Looking for one provider to hire who is local, comfortable doing ER consults, neonate resuscitation and available for day / night / weekend call.
• Description of Work Assignment : Cover well baby Nursery, ER, and attend all deliveries. Average daily census for nursery 5, 3 ER consults and 5 deliveries.Schedule of Days / Times Needed to Work / Shift Hours : 12-hour shifts. (2-3 shifts for Nov and Dec 2025) And 12-15 Shifts Starting in January-June 2026.On call? YesPatient Load : Overall 10-15 patientsIs the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? SoloAre there Advanced Practice Providers? If yes, is the locums provider responsible for them? NOTrauma Level of Work Location Not a traumaEMR System? EpicIs the Clinic EMR Different from the Hospital EMR? NOWhat level nursery? Level II NurseryIs Neo available on site? Do they attend 100% of deliveries? NEO is not onsite however on call. Babies do get transferred to NBI which is about 6 miles away. They attend most deliveriesDo I cover all Ped patients in ER? Yes, all peds ER cases that come through.Is there a Pediatric inpatient service? If so, who covers that? Outside of the nursery no inpatient pediatric service. All that need admission are transferred to NBI.
