Urology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Urologist physician to work locum shifts in Durango, Colorado (CO). Starting in September 2025. The role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. The Urology role : Site needs 3 weeks per month for locum coverage in total. Monday-Friday - 7a-5p 5p-7a (night call) & Saturday-Sunday - 24hr call (7a-7a) Setting : Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency Room, Clinic, Call Trauma Level III FTE : .5 Required Procedures / Job Duties : Seeing Clinic patients & general urology surgeries OR time for various procedures EMR : EPIC Support Staff : MA, NP / PA, RN Reason for Coverage : 3 locums require 6 month break. Number of Providers Needed : 2 All shifts end the following day at 7a. Oct 20-26 Oct 27-Nov 2 Nov 3-9 Nov 10-16 Nov 23-30 Dec 1-7 Dec 8-14 Dec 15-21 Dec 22-28 Dec 29-Jan 4 Ongoing dates will be needed and will begin starting Nov 3, 2025 as schedules are released Requirements of the Urologist role : CO state license; active, unrestricted- They will consider IMLC (LOQ needs to be in hand at time of presentation) Current certification (American Board of Urology) CO State DEA BLS Must be available for any stint in job description to be considered for ongoing dates NPDB Required Emergency temp privs in 45 days with a clean file Benefits : Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered.
