Travel Nurse Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary : $2250-$2310 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Location : Fort Wayne, IN 46845 (Indiana nursing jobs) Facility Setting : Labor & Delivery Unit (16 LDR rooms) Shift : 7 : 00pm – 7 : 30am (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Schedule : Every 3rd weekend required Orientation : 2 x 12-hour labor shifts Dress Code : Hospital-provided scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state BLS (AHA required) ACLS (AHA required) NRP certification STABLE certification Experience with EPIC Stork, Centricity fetal monitoring, and Pyxis medication systems preferred L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, supporting both vaginal and cesarean deliveries Monitor maternal and fetal status using advanced fetal monitoring systems Document patient care and interventions in EPIC Stork EHR Collaborate with fellow Labor & Delivery nurses and nurse leaders Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1 : 1, occasionally 1 : 2 for early labor or induction Follow hospital protocols and ensure patient safety at all times Participate in ongoing unit-specific training and orientation No floating required; occasional shifts at Parkview Randallia location (18 miles away) may be needed Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
