Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

A healthcare network is actively seeking a compassionate Psychiatrist to join their team on a locums basis. The Hospital Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with mental health disorders. About the Opportunity Schedule : Full-time, typically Monday-Friday; on-call possible Specialty : Adult Psychiatry Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications. Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments. Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and primary care providers. Participate in treatment planning and discharge processes. Maintain timely documentation in EMR. Qualifications Education : MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Licensure : Active and unrestricted state license. Board Certification : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Preferred : Experience in hospital-based psychiatry or consultation-liaison.
