Security Professional - Distribution Site - Afternoon Shift

As a Security Professional in South Bend, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct regular patrols, assist with access control, and deliver outstanding customer service to everyone on site. Pay Rate : $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Sat 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access.
  • Monitor loading docks, storage areas, and shipping / receiving zones to help to deter theft and / or loss of goods.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns specific to the logistics and distribution environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and / or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
