Position Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated Street s Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks related to the construction and maintenance of streets, sidewalks, signage, and pavement marking. The position requires a strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle both physical and mental demands effectively.

Normal Shift : 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Street and Sidewalk Maintenance : Engage in general labor tasks including asphalt paving, concrete repair, joint and crack sealing , street sign fabrication and installation, and pavement marking.
  • Traffic Control : Set up and manage work zones and roadway traffic control to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Equipment Operation : Operate and perform minor maintenance on light and heavy equipment, power tools, and motorized equipment. Operate vehicles up to and including Class "B" CDL size with air brakes.
  • Snow Removal : Participate in snow removal activities to keep streets and public areas accessible and safe.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.
  • High School graduate or GED certificate.
  • One (1) year of applicable experience.
  • Must have a Class "B" CDL valid in the state of Missouri, or obtain within 120 days of employment. Commercial drivers instruction permit (CDIP) must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
  • Ability to frequently lift and / or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and / or move more than 90 lbs.
