Locum Position : MD / DO - Anesthesiologist (Cardiac)

Location : Albany, NY

Key Responsibilities :

Administer anesthesia for cardiac surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, and other advanced cardiac procedures.

Monitor patients vital signs and manage hemodynamic stability during complex surgeries.

Perform pre-operative evaluations and create tailored anesthesia care plans for cardiac patients.

Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes.

Provide post-operative pain management and recovery support.

Maintain accurate, compliant, and detailed patient records.

Qualifications :

Board-certified / board-eligible in Anesthesiology, with fellowship training or significant experience in Cardiac Anesthesia.

Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in New York.

Proficient in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and certified (preferred).

Strong clinical and decision-making skills with expertise in managing complex cardiac cases.
