We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endoscopy Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in gastroenterology procedures and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including obtaining medical histories and informed consent.

Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures by managing equipment and ensuring patient safety.

Monitor patients' vital signs and sedation levels throughout procedures.

Provide post-procedure care and education to patients and their families regarding recovery and follow-up instructions.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and procedural details.

Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing staff education.

Required Skills :

Current Texas RN license (required).

BLS and ACLS certification (required).

Strong communication and patient education skills.

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient safety.

Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-based care model.

EMR proficiency and accurate clinical documentation habits.

Knowledge of GI procedures, scopes, and post-anesthesia recovery protocols is a plus.

Required Experience :

1–2 years of nursing experience, ideally in a GI, endoscopy, or surgical setting.

Prior experience with moderate sedation, recovery room protocols, and / or circulating in a procedure room is preferred.

Familiarity with infection prevention, patient safety practices, and ASC workflows.
