Job Title : Entry-Level Machine Operator / Inspector – Plastics Manufacturing
Location : Rockford, MI
Job Type : 2nd Shift 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday OR 3rd shift 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday
Pay : $16 / hr
Job Summary :
We are looking for motivated and reliable Entry-Level Machine Operators / Inspectors to join our growing plastics manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clean, fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to producing high-quality parts.
Responsibilities :
- Operate plastic molding or extrusion machines under the supervision of experienced staff
- Inspect plastic parts for quality and consistency using visual and basic measurement tools
- Trim, sort, and package finished products according to customer and production specifications
- Monitor machines for proper function and report any issues to supervisors or maintenance staff
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality control standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift
- Accurately complete production and inspection documentation
