Specialization : Emergency Medicine

Job Summary :

HCA Healthcare is seeking PRN Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our practice at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Florida.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

  • Must be Board Certified / Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Will also consider Board Certified Family Medicine (ABFM) or Board-Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM) with Emergency Medicine experience
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Must be able to commit to work 288 hrs. per year

  • 29,000 Emergency Medicine visits per year
  • 11-bed Emergency Department, including 3 fast-track
  • 20% admission rate
  • 24 hours of physician coverage

  • Active partnership with sister facility in close proximity for Trauma, OB, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery and Pediatric support / transfers
