Qualifications :

  • Certification required
  • Emergency medicine experience preferred
  • New grads with previous emergency medicine experience welcome to apply.

    • Practice in the Heart of the Community

    Flexible Scheduling :

  • 12 hour shifts
  • We're always there to support each other when covering shifts.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide care in a smaller, community-based hospital with a level III trauma designation.
  • Annual ED visits 10,000.
  • Manage a variety of emergency cases, including triage and fast-track patients.
  • Collaborate closely with Sound's hospital medicine team to ensure a seamless transition of care.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary environment supported by 24 / 7 specialty coverage, including cardiology with a cath lab, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics with spine care, neurology (with telestroke support), psychiatry (with an on-site inpatient behavioral health unit), oncology, and nephrology with dialysis capabilities in the ICU.

Due to nearby Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista has a significant military and veteran population. It is renowned for its friendly and welcoming community and is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
