Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal Intensive Care - (RRT - NICU)

StartDate : 12 / 16 / 2025

Available Shifts : 8 D

Pay Rate : $1970.07 - $2158.69

Respiratory Therapist -Pedi / Nicu needed asap

50-Mile Radius Rule Applies

FLOAT : Client reserves the right to float or reassign Personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours and within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility (unless otherwise agreed to in such Personnel’s individual assignment confirmation).

Minimum Qualifications : Education : Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary

Experience :

  • Minimum 3 years of pediatric experience required

NICU experience (Level III or IV) : Minimum 2 years

Emergency Department experience required (can include float / cross-cover)

Previous travel experience required

Licensure & Certification Requirements Licensure : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Required Certifications :

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Preferred Qualifications
  • NPS (Neonatal / Pediatric Specialty) certification
  • Additional Unit-Specific Information

  • Environment : Small unit with a broad skill mix, ranging from seasoned staff to new grads
  • NICU Capability : Up to 6 ventilated patients
  • Collaboration : Strong multidisciplinary teamwork required
  • Best Fit Traveler :
  • Pediatric experience
  • Comfortable floating and supporting where needed
  • Former pediatric hospital experience
  • Team player with teaching willingness (RRT students)
  • Variable weekend requirements to fill staffing needs. May be asked to move shifts to cover needs as well.
  • RTO & Vaccination Policy

  • No RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
  • Seasonal Influenza Vaccine :
  • Medical and religious exemptions accepted Additional Notes : IVS to manager
  • Required Qualifications

    Registered Respiratory Therapist, Pedi

    Experience : 3 years

    RT-CO

    Certifications : BLS(Copy needed); ACLS(Copy needed); RRT(Copy needed); PALS(Copy needed)

    AND

    Registered Respiratory Therapist, NICU

    Experience : 2 years

    RT-CO

    SSN Required

    DOB Required

    References : 1 Reference in entire work history

    NPS (Neonatal / Pediatric Specialty) certification

    Emergency Department experience required (can include float / cross-cover)

    Previous travel experience required
