Behavioral Counselor- East Bay Wrap

Behavioral Counselor- East Bay Wrap

Roll up your sleeves and join Fred Finch to make a real difference in the lives of youth and families. Behavioral Counselors in our East Bay Wrap Program use a high-fidelity model that is honest, family centered, culturally / linguistically responsive and community based. The work is very challenging, and spiritually rewarding, especially to those who may have overcome barriers in the past.

Wraparound staff work with families utilizing a comprehensive team-based approach. Our program offers a myriad of services and support including behavioral and mental health assessment and interventions as well as medication and psychiatric support.

Fred Finch offers free trainings to improve mental health skills, and biannual scholarship opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Meet 1 : 1 weekly with youth and families to support treatment goals, and provide psychoeducation
• Attend Child and Family team meetings to collaborate with families and community partners to help families meet their goals
• Implement customized behavioral intervention plans with creativity and care
• Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals
• Utilize de-escalation techniques
• Deliver culturally responsive services in working with diverse families
• Drive to meet youth and families in their communities (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Participate in individual and group supervision sessions

Shifts Available

Full Time - Hourly; Mon-Fri / 9am-5 : 30pm

Salary Range

In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $22.55 and $28.78 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
