Head of Operations and Deployment

What's the role

Shell is looking for a Head of Operations and Deployment to oversee the growth and operation of the Shell Recharge network in North America. This role will report to the General Manager of North America E-Mobility and manages the design, construction, and operation of Shell's public charging network in the United States and Canada.

This role will manage five major pillars of the Shell Recharge business : Deployment workstreams to design and build the network; Customer Experience workstreams to ensure a premium driver experience; Product workstreams to drive innovative and connected solutions for drivers and the business; Service workstreams to maintain best-in-class asset uptime and customer success; Supply Chain workstreams to deliver on-time, cost-effective products and materials to support the growth and maintenance of the network.

Accountabilities :

• Deliver cost-effective, on-schedule growth of the Shell Recharge network
• Partner with internal and external product and engineering teams to develop exceptional user interfaces, first-time charging success, and outstanding customer support
• Manage real-time network monitoring and maintenance, to deliver high-fidelity charger availability
• Purchase, warehouse, logistics, and full lifecycle management of parts and materials
• Safe and responsible operation of all facets of the Shell Recharge business

What we offer

The base salary range for this position is $210,000 - $314,000 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.

For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.

Additionally, employees are eligible for short-term disability leave for up to 26 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay as well as Long-Term Disability insurance. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
