About the Role
Impact you will make
As an HR Business Partner, working with assigned business units and India counterparts, you will provide HR expertise and serve as a key consultant to support the building of talent capabilities with the organization. This role partners with the HR Centers of Excellence to formulate HR initiatives in support of strategic objectives and provides consultative services across all the HR teams including HR Operations, Total Rewards, Talent Development, and Talent Acquisition. Ability to think strategically, advise and coach, and inspire change collaboratively while balancing initiatives. In leading these efforts, the ideal candidate must solve talent planning and development challenges by initiating best practices to ensure support of the business needs and establish and maintain a strong community of collaborators
What you will do
- Build solid partnerships with leaders, other HRBPs, and HR COEs to ensure informed and efficient solutions based on best practices, data, and understanding of the business
- Work with assigned business groups and leadership to identify development needs, workforce challenges or talent gaps, and collaborate to develop solutions that address needs and support organizational development, effective talent management, and employee retention in support of short- and long-term objectives
- Leverage current programs and processes to support effective performance management and coach leaders through goal setting, development planning, leadership assessments and mid- and end-of-year reviews
- Facilitate compensation best practices with FinThrive's compensation team for department leaders to enable performance and compensation differentiation
- Drive coaching opportunities to promote growth and development, while also collaborating with leaders in the creation of new opportunities to stretch and develop talent
- Lead and champion change, ensuring awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement to sustain change
- Coach and collaborate with leaders on challenges and performance issues, facilitating feedback, and driving high engagement and performance
- Work with leaders and Finance partner(s) and leaders to ensure new positions, backfills and compensation changes are reasonable, equitable and within budget and guidelines
- Strong understanding of key HR metrics and ability to compile, track, and report findings
- Manage and resolve complex colleague relations issues; counseling leaders and team members as needed; where applicable, conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- In collaboration with HR peers, support HR initiatives as designated; Perform and lead ad hoc projects as assigned
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field5+ years' experience as a strategic HRBP supporting diverse / complex business groupsExperience navigating in HRMS systemsExperience in a complex or matrix organization and / or working for a Technology-based companyExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong knowledge of functional areas including talent management, compensation, employee relations, employment laws and employee developmentAbility to bring best practice guidance and perform as a collaborative problem-solver adept at developing customized approachesDemonstrated experience dealing with senior leadership teams in complex organizations whereby influencing without authority is a key attribute of successful performanceReputation for working exceptionally well in partnership with company leaders and HR colleagues to drive positive changeStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work in the gray and deliver resultsDemonstrates superior influence skills; can communicate effectively and confidently with all levels of the organizationsSHRM- CP or SCP, PHR or SPHRWhat we would like to see
