Security Officer - Unarmed Auto Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Auto Patrol in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned auto industry locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a secure atmosphere while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Tue 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Wed 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Thur 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM Sun 12 : 00 AM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behavior.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address incidents and support a secure environment.
  • Remain alert to any unusual activity or potential threats within the location and take appropriate action as directed by Allied Universal protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possession of a valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
