As a product segment leader for Industrial Control Systems, you'll be responsible for defining and executing product strategies. Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage product segment strategies and vendor relationships.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to guide product positioning.
- Collaborate with Sales to drive demand and align strategies.
- Influence inventory decisions and support go-to-market planning.
- Present product playbooks and participate in strategic reviews.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with vendors and target customers.
- Deliver a business plan that drives annual growth for key vendors.
- Document successful applications and communicate opportunities to our sales team.
- Educate our sales team on new technical opportunities by presenting in our sales meetings.
Qualifications :
5+ years of experience in Industrial Controls / AutomationBachelor's or Master's in Business, Engineering, or related field.Experience in product management, marketing, or business strategy.Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.Basic knowledge of complete automation systems / solutions; including PLC's, drives, motion, industrial controls and sensors, safety systems and networks. Must have in-depth understanding of assigned products to assist sales staff and customers.Ability to travel as needed, including overnight, to vendors, customers and other Power / mation locations. Travel is estimated at up to 25%.Work Location
This role will ideally be located in Saint Paul, MN, Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL. However, exceptionally qualified candidates residing in any part of MN, WI, IL, IA, NE, ND, or SD will also be considered for a fully remote role.
