DESCRIPTION
Address day to day maintenance issues that impact the factory's ability to manufacture product. Collaborate with peers, engineers, and managers to ensure building systems and manufacturing equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE, SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : Requires trade school completion (post high school) with practical training in a recognized trade or craft (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry) and three to five years of relevant experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, and technical procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from engineers and managers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to apply advanced shop math concepts such as fractions, ratios, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY : Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Post high school trade school certificate.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Must be thoroughly familiar with Joint Industry Council (J.I.C.) hydraulics, pneumatic standards, and industrial ventilation.
