Industrial Engineer

Work for a manufacturer based in Central New Jersey. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an Industrial Engineer to help us streamline operations and improve production performance across our manufacturing facilities.

Position Summary

We're seeking a hands-on Industrial Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have the potential to lead people in a supervisory or manager role. This role will focus on process improvement, production efficiency, layout design, and data-driven analysis to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
• Optimize plant layouts, material flow, and workstation design for safety, efficiency, and throughput
• Collect and interpret production data to support cost reduction and quality enhancement initiatives
• Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and time studies
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to drive lean manufacturing initiatives
• Support implementation of new equipment, automation, and technology upgrades
• Participate in Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects
