We are hiring a Sr Applications Developer for one of our clients in Maricopa County, AZ.

Job Description :

The Senior Applications Developer is needed to migrate existing applications from legacy infrastructure to newer on-prem or cloud environments (Azure) We're looking for a Sr-level app developer who is versed on migration of legacy .NET apps to modern framework. Along with that, someone who understands Azure DevOps and can work with CI / CD pipelines. This person will be customer-facing at times and will need strong customer service skills as well and someone who carries themselves in a professional manner.

Maintain existing web applications
Develop new web applications / solutions
Troubleshoot user issues with supported systems
Migrate existing applications from legacy infrastructure
Upgrade .NET frameworks for supported systems
Interact with build and release pipelines in AzureDevOps
Participate in on-call support of production issues
Coordinate and work with other staff including, but not limited to, vendors, Business Integration Specialists, IT security staff, project managers, other team members, subject matter experts, end users, and executive business partners
Performs other duties as assigned

Skills Required :

Ability to think analytically and solve problems; conduct analysis of alternatives, make recommendations, and issue resolutions.

Act as a technical project lead as required based on activities / projects assigned

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to technical and non-technical individuals at all levels of the organization.

Ability to work with minimal supervision in the performance of daily activities.

Ability to understand and interpret technical manuals and system documentation

Knowledge of overall computer operations procedures, operating systems, platforms, database management systems, languages, procedures, and controls.

Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and best practices.

MVC

SQL Server

Visual Studio

AzureDevOps / Git

CI / CD

HTML 5 / Responsive Web Design

Javascript / jQuery

REST APIs

Web Accessibility Standards.

Experience Preferred :

Azure

Education Required :

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

At least five (5) years of related experience to include building and maintaining web applications using C# .NET, SQL Server, REST APIs, AzureDevOps, CI / CD and IIS .

Work hours :

8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
