About The Position

Job Title : Pharmacist

Profession : Pharmacy

Specialty : Outpatient

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day shifts rotate between 0800-1600, 1030-1800, 1000-1400 (weekends)

Hours per Shift : 4-8 hours

Experience : Outpatient Pharmacy Experience - Required

License : Licensed by MN State Board of Pharmacy - Required

Certifications : Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree - Required

Must-Have : Proficiency in Epic Willow - Required

Description :

The Pharmacist performs clinical pharmacy functions, including customer monitoring and consulting with other clinical staff.

Reviews medication orders for appropriateness, dosing, frequency, potential interactions, and possible allergic reactions.

Oversees the dispensing of medications and intravenous solutions by pharmacy technicians.

Performs kinetic drug dosing.

Consults with medical and nursing staff.

Participates in medication reconciliation.

Oversees medication dispensing by support personnel.

Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
