As a growing company, not all processes are fully established, and we are seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant with the ability to build out new processes to join our finance team and contribute to our mission of driving cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes for multiple business segments and product lines.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (note : this role does not require a tax accountant, as tax filings are outsourced).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
• Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff and contribute to process improvements.
• Assist in strategic financial planning and analysis to support business objectives in biotech and manufacturing.
• Develop and implement new financial processes and leverage process automation to enhance team capacity.
