We are seeking an Ethical AI / IV&V Specialist to support National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Artificial Intelligence (AI) efforts. This specialist will play an important role helping to create technical solutions for multiple AI challenges.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Ethical AI / IV&V Specialist will ensure that AI models and agentic systems are transparent, fair, and compliant with National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) governance requirements while supporting mission-driven objectives. Specific responsibilities include :

• AI Compliance & Governance

Oversee compliance and governance of AI products, ensuring alignment with governance frameworks and risk controls (e.g., NGA CORE data policies, IC / Department of Defense standards).

Fairness Audits & Bias Documentation

Develop and apply fairness, bias, and ethical risk assessment metrics across multi-modal GEOINT datasets and models.

Ethical Risk Tagging & Monitoring

Implement risk tagging frameworks within the model registry to track ethical considerations, potential AI deception risks, and transparency compliance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bias / fairness metric design and ethical AI risk frameworks (e.g., NIST AI Risk Management Framework).
