Setting : Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), 166 beds.

Schedule : Full-time | Flexible shifts

WellTech Partners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) on behalf of one of our partnered healthcare facilities. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients while working in a supportive, interdisciplinary team environment.

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide direct patient care and support activities under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR). The OTA will assist in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patients functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on patient care in accordance with the treatment plan developed by the supervising OTR.
• Provide education and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs.
• Accurately document patient progress, treatment sessions, and billing in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Participate in care conferences and communicate effectively regarding patient progress and discharge planning.
• Maintain equipment and treatment areas in safe working order, following all safety and infection control protocols.
• Support the therapy department through scheduling, documentation assistance, and administrative tasks as needed.
• Engage in continuing education and contribute to the professional growth of self and colleagues.
