Role Overview
- Recruiting a Power Platform developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity.
- Selected candidate will receive guidance from a senior developer and transition into a role that balances collaboration with autonomy as the team grows.
- Collaboration will center on defining priorities, architectural decisions, code reviews, and deployment processes.
- Autonomy will be expected in evaluating requests at the application / flow level and understanding the macro impact to business processes, as well as in designing and developing solutions.
- Candidates should anticipate owning deliverables, working independently with minimal supervision, and taking on responsibilities as a key member of the team.
Initial Assignment
Build, enhance, and maintain custom Model-Driven Power Apps.Modernize and refactor legacy workflows and integrations.Document code, processes, and architectural decisions for long-term sustainability.Collaborate on business process mapping and solution design.Technical Requirements (Guidance, not a checklist)
Must-Have
Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) : 3–5 years professional experience.Enterprise Systems : 3–5 years with ERPs, Sales / Project Delivery, or contract solutions.Agile Scrum : User story creation and refinement.Azure DevOps & GitHub : Source control, branching, PR strategies.ETL Concepts : Data movement and transformation.Data Modeling : Structuring and securing data in Dataverse.Programming : JavaScript and HTML for custom components and event handlers.Preferred
Integration : REST APIs, Microsoft services, external system connectivity.Solution Architecture : Design patterns, refactoring, and scalability.CI / CD Automation : Familiarity with deployment pipelines and version control.Business Process Understanding : Mapping requirements to technical solutions.Testing : Developer testing, QA, and change management best practices.Continuous Improvement : Staying current with Power Platform features.Soft Skills
