Our Aventura Mall location is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Sales Supervisor to join our passionate team and lead the Schutz brand to new heights.
Job Summary :
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of sales associates, overseeing their performance, and driving sales growth in a retail environment. You play a crucial role in coaching and motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve sales targets, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Support the Store Manager in leading and managing a team of sales associates, including hiring, training, and ongoing development to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.
- Set clear sales goals and targets for the team and individuals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve and exceed sales objectives in partnership with the Store Manager.
- Monitor sales performance, customer interactions, and other key metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and productivity.
- Coach and provide feedback to sales associates on their performance, offering guidance on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service to enhance their skills and maximize their potential.
- Support the Store Manager in conducting regular team meetings to communicate sales targets, promotions, and other important information, fostering an open and collaborative team environment.
- Train and onboard new sales associates, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and sales techniques to succeed in their role.
- Monitor and maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring products are displayed attractively and in accordance with company guidelines.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and other supervisors to develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and events to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions, utilizing retail management software and other tools as required.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales performance.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, cash handling procedures, and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Skills :
High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (preferred).Previous experience in a sales or retail supervisory role, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and leading a team.Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.Strong sales and customer service orientation, with the ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer experiences.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective sales strategies.Proficient in using retail management software, point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Why Work at Schutz?
