Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Alamogordo, NM 88310 – New Mexico travel nursing jobs Unit : Telemetry Unit (Tele RN) Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : October 27, 2025 End Date : January 24, 2026 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Shift : Night shift, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Yes Floating Requirement : Yes, may float to behavioral medicine, ortho, and PCU units On Call : No on-call required Nurse / Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780-$1910 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in New Mexico or compact state (Registered Nurse license required) BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required Minimum 1 year of recent experience in telemetry nursing or related clinical specialty Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience with med-surg, EPIC EMR, ortho, behavioral health, OB surgical, and pediatric patients preferred Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver routine and complex nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side effects and effectiveness Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided using EMR systems Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans and health management Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families Delegate tasks and assignments to other healthcare team members as appropriate Float to other nursing units (behavioral medicine, ortho, PCU) as needed Join our healthcare team in Alamogordo, New Mexico, and experience professional growth, adventure, and the opportunity to make a real impact in patient care.
