Shipping Lead

Brief Summary of Duties
- Supervise, coach and mentor a warehouse staff of 3 - 6 employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of orders and shipments to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and achieve shipping deadlines consistently by delegation of workflow and priority.
- Maintain employee records : weekly timecards, attendance points, annual reviews, PEs, write-ups, etc.
- Ensure accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Accurately pull IT equipment, verify, and scan items to create stock transfers and BOL’s utilizing the OFT dashboard.
- Store items in bins, shelves, or other specified locations; update locations, maintain stock, and notify appropriate personnel of all discrepancies.
- Work from shipping papers, bill of lading, packing slips, work orders and written and verbal instructions.
- Use hand carts, mobile pallet jacks and motorized forklifts to safely transport and load / unload parts and materials. Exercise proper care and use of equipment and materials.
- Perform warehouse duties in all areas of the warehouse as assigned or directed.
- Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting and the ability to lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Other duties as assigned by department.
Experience and / or Education Requirements
6 months+ warehouse or shipping experienceBasic math skills to count IT equipment with speed and accuracy.Use organizational tools such as internal computer software to locate and gather stock with handheld devices, and bar code scanners.Able to get forklift certified within 3 monthsExperience and / or Education Preferred
