Position

Senior Staff Automation Engineer – Kissimmee, FL

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation equipment interface solutions for controlling semiconductor factory equipment using SECS / GEM and GEM300 protocols.
  • Integrate automation solutions to 3rd party support systems such as Automatic Process Control (APC) or Fault Detection & Classification (FDC) within the factory.
  • Identify and implement custom automation rules for improving site metrics such as Automated Move Out %, Line Yield, rework etc.
  • Troubleshoot automation and equipment issues from application and communication log files.
  • Work with tool owners to identify and document equipment control strategies.
  • Can work independently on complex problems and serve as top level support for junior engineers or technicians in the company.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field of study with 7 years manufacturing industry-related experience. Will consider additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Develop and maintain automation equipment interface solutions for controlling semiconductor factory equipment.
  • Experience automating 200mm semiconductor equipment.
  • Experience developing on multiple software platforms & technologies. C#, C++, Java, SQL or Python.
  • Project Management and technical documentation skills.
  • US Citizenship Required. This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $165,000. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
