Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical (Days)

Location : Gadsden, AL

Start Date : November 10, 2025

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Days – 6 : 45 AM to 7 : 15 PM

Schedule : Every other weekend

Patient Ratio : 6 : 1

Setting : Acute Care – Medical-Surgical Unit

Position Overview

HumanEdge is seeking a dedicated Travel Med-Surg RN for a hospital in Gadsden, Alabama . The ideal candidate is experienced in medical-surgical nursing, comfortable with high-acuity patients, and committed to delivering patient-centered care during extended day shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and patient education

Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans

Document patient care accurately (Cerner EMR experience preferred)

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards

Requirements

Active AL RN license or compact RN license – Required

BLS (AHA) – Required

Cerner EMR experience – Preferred

Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical RN experience – Required

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
