About the Role : Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

As a CHHA , you'll be providing essential personal care and support services in the comfort of your patients' homes. You'll follow an individualized care plan under the direction of a registered nurse or therapist, helping patients with daily tasks while preserving their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities :

Personal Care Assistance : Help patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

Mobility Support : Assist with transfers, walking, exercises, and fall prevention

Monitor Vital Signs : Check and document temperature, pulse, and respiration during each visit

Meal Preparation : Assist with meals and feeding based on the patient's dietary plan

Medication Reminders : Prompt patients to take prescribed medications (no administration required)

Light Housekeeping : Change bed linens, keep the environment tidy and safe

Observe & Report : Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to clinical staff

Follow Care Plan : Deliver care based on each patient's personalized home health care plan

Requirements :

Current CHHA Certification through the California Department of Public Health

Reliable Transportation - Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to patient homes in your assigned geopod

CPR Certification - Current and valid

Strong Communication Skills - Fluent in spoken and written English

Empathy & Professionalism - Compassionate, respectful, and dedicated to patient-centered care

Home Health Experience - Preferred, but not required
