About The Position
Weekly Pay $55.67 / hour - Speech Language Pathologist at Temple Rehabilitation Hospital
- Provide speech therapy services to adult and geriatric inpatients in a 36-bed acute rehabilitation hospital.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with language, voice, and swallowing disorders following severe injury or illness (e.g., stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injury).
- Deliver customized, intensive rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using electronic health records (EHR).
- Work Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM, no weekend or on-call requirements.
- Participate in orientation and follow facility protocols (e.g., uniform, reporting instructions).
- Required to hold current CCC and Texas SLP license.
- Preferred experience in inpatient rehab or skilled nursing settings.
- Contribute to comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs for patients throughout their recovery journey.
