Millwork Shop Operations Manager
Overview : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwork Shop Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy custom millwork facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, supervising shop teams, maintaining quality standards, and driving process improvements to ensure safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily millwork production operations and workflow
- Manage production schedules to meet delivery timelines
- Supervise and mentor carpenters, fabricators, and shop staff
- Ensure all products meet quality specifications and standards
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks or inefficiencies
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and procurement teams
- Maintain inventory and oversee material handling
- Enforce shop safety standards and conduct regular audits
- Support team development, performance reviews, and training
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
