Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district is seeking a Substitute Teacher Aide to provide temporary support to students and classroom teachers, primarily in Special Education settings. This role is designed for candidates who are adaptable, patient, and committed to supporting diverse learning needs. The position begins at 8 : 30 AM, and candidates must complete Justice Center clearance before starting.

Responsibilities :

Assist teachers in delivering lessons and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)

Support students in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth

Maintain classroom order, monitor student behavior, and provide guidance as needed

Help prepare instructional materials and classroom resources

Observe and report student progress to lead teachers

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Previous experience in a Special Education school or classroom

Ability to quickly adapt to different classroom environments and student needs

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must have completed Justice Center clearance prior to starting

Availability to begin at 8 : 30 AM
