Enabling Technology Support Professional - Overnights

Systems Unlimited is currently looking to hire both full-time and part-time Enabling Technology Support Professionals. The Enabling Technology Support Professional (ETSP) will play a critical role in providing technical assistance, training, and support to adults with disabilities who use our enabling technology solutions. This position requires a compassionate individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to enhancing the independence and well-being of those we serve. This position requires the ability to problem solve situations in a variety of homes, as well as work with our electronic monitoring system.

These staff will be based in Iowa City and will be working awake overnight shifts. It is a compressed schedule- Full-time staff will work three 12-hour shifts each week and part-time staff will work one 12-hr shift. Shifts are 8pm-8am.

Key Responsibilities

As a ETSP, you will join a team of others who support people with disabilities in their homes by :

• Providing remote technical assistance and troubleshooting for a range of enabling technology products, including adaptive devices, communication tools, and accessibility software.
• Updating software, repairing any malfunctioning parts, installing new programs, and completing additional duties relating to remote supports.
• Maintaining accurate records of individuals served interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in our support database.
• Addressing questions and concerns of individuals served promptly and effectively and providing needed direct support as outlined in their Individual Service Plans.
• Providing immediate assistance in response to emergency alerts from individuals served using our technology.
• Documenting adequately per guidelines established by agency and state standards and make corrections to documentation as directed

Requirements

Must be 18 years old with a High School diploma or GED. Must have a valid driver's license and driving record that is acceptable. People with a passion to help others encouraged to apply, we will provide the training and classes needed to provide excellent services.
