We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team on a W2 contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL, data visualization, and statistical analysis, and will thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, flat files) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Write efficient and complex SQL queries to manipulate and retrieve data from relational databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Perform root cause analysis to explain business performance fluctuations.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the analysis process.
Qualifications :
Must be a US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or hold a valid H4 EAD / GC EAD. (This is a mandatory requirement for this W2 contract position).Must be physically located in the United States within the EST or CST time zones.2+ years of professional experience in a Data Analyst role.Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.Solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience with analysis in Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS (Redshift, S3), Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), or Azure.Experience with version control systems such as Git.What We Offer :
