Physical Requirements :
Occasionally lifting or moving objects up to 10 lbs; Regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); utilizing mouse, keyboard, and phone or portions ofthe day. Ability to travel to various locations on and off-campus for meetings.
Shift :
Primarily days (i.e. Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm). Please be aware that as an exempt position, job duties may occasionally require additional time in the evenings, nightsand / or weekends to accomplish work goals in excess of 40 hours per week.
Job Summary :
The Assistant Director for Global Compliance supervises the Distance Learning (DL) Compliance workflows and personnel related to out of state educational activities and serves as the campus point of contact for DL Compliance. This team ensures the university and its distance learning credit programs are in compliance with both domestic and international regulatory requirements that allow programs to enroll online students and offer placements in locations outside of Kentucky. The position has oversight of DL Compliance operations and data, is responsible for creating and improving compliance workflows to support regulatory requirements, coordinates communication with campus stakeholders, and takes a leadership role with policy and procedure initiatives for DL Compliance. The Assistant Director must have expertise in regulatory research, analysis, and policy development, an understanding of program accreditation, data competency, project management, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Education / Experience :
Experience in Education Policy, Legal Studies, State Authorization, and / or International compliance. Technical expertise with Tableau or a similar data reporting tool.
