Material Handler Newport News, VA (Contract)

Join the world's largest shipbuilding company and play a key role in supporting Navy vessel construction. We're looking for a reliable and energetic Material Handler to manage and deliver essential materials in a dynamic shipyard environment.

What You'll Do

• Handle and move materials such as pipe, fittings, vents, valves, and insulation (up to 50 lbs)
• Deliver materials to various locations, including open areas, confined spaces, and elevated platforms onboard ships
• Perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing, crawling, bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods
• Work in diverse environments onboard Navy vessels and in shop settings

The pay range for this position is $21.36 - $27.31 / hr.
