Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with home health experience for a post-acute assignment covering home care, hospice, and skilled nursing settings.

Responsibilities

Work in home care, hospice, and skilled nursing facility settings

Patient caseload is typically 5 cases per day within a 40-mile driving radius

Responsibilities include covering both Home Health and SNF locations

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm

EMR used is Remote Client

No on-call or call back requirements

Position involves supervising physical therapist assistants as needed

No onsite therapy supervisor; candidates must function independently

Mileage is reimbursed at the current government rate and drive time is billable

Local pay rates apply for candidates living within 80 miles

First-time travelers will be considered if home health clinicals were completed

Requirements

Current PT license required if applicable

Minimum 1 year of PT experience with at least some home health experience

Current BLS certification required

New graduates may be considered if home health clinical experience is documented

Must be comfortable working without onsite supervision

Must be able to supervise PTAs as part of the role

Valid driver's license required and ability to travel within a 40-mile radius
