Financial Analyst

Noblis MSD is seeking a Financial Analyst to directly support US Navy programs. This is a hybrid role based out of the Navy Yard in Philadelphia, PA. While there will be an opportunity for a hybrid work schedule, candidates will have to be local to be able to visit clients on site. In this role you will be responsible for programmatic support tasks including the development, maintenance and administration of program management tools utilized for scheduling, budgeting, resource management and project status.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinating tasks and projects, creation / maintenance of Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&Ms), and financial tracking / reporting utilizing data from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Creating customized financial packages for program managers, task leads, and others.
  • Providing financial support, including funding analysis, creation of program and task metrics / graphs, monthly expenditure charts and cost variance charts.
  • Acquire status updates on monthly deliverables and compile results for roll-up reporting.
  • Coordinating with multiple Program Managers along with multiple on-site customers.

Required Qualifications Bachlor's degree and 1 year of experience. Will also consider high school diploma & 6 years of experience, or an Associate's degree and 3 years of experience.

Relevant work experience in the following areas :

  • Development, updating, or use of ILS products
  • Review and analysis of financials including budgets and reconciliation of issues and discrepancies
  • Review and update program financial records and schedules
  • Status gathering and reporting
  • Document formatting and editing
  • Development of presentation materials
  • Meeting coordination to include scheduling, preparation, minute taking and capturing action items
  • MS Office Suite including MS Project and Access

    • Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain an interim clearance before starting employment.

    Desired Qualifications :

  • Active Secret clearance highly preferred
  • Power BI experience
  • ERP, EDW, JIRA experience
  • Experience with Navy / DoD programs is a plus, but not required
  • Organized and Detail Oriented
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive, "can-do" attitude
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient with Microsoft Offices
