W orking Hours :
Work is typically scheduled from 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m ., Monday through Friday. While the schedule may need to be flexible, it will not exceed 40 hours per week or 1550 hours total. The contractor may be occasionally called upon for after-hours as needed.

The DevOps Engineer 3 is a key member of the DevSecOps team, responsible for :
Developing, reviewing, modifying, and enhancing CI / CD principlesInstalling, configuring, and maintaining CI / CD tools and platformsDeveloping and maintaining CI / CD pipeline configurationsAutomating processesDeveloping, monitoring, and optimizing batch jobs and operationsAdditionally, this role involves installing, configuring, building, and deploying applications for Eligibility Supporting Technology, ensuring these applications remain current across all environments. The engineer will also provide environmental triage support, including on-call support during workdays, nights, and weekends to maintain high availability.
This position operates with minimal direction and significant latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Mandatory Qualifications
Experience automating full-life cycle of complex enterprise IT env. using IaC, CaC & CI / CD tools integrated into 1 unified solution supporting standup of new env or frequent mod to existing env in areas such as IBM WebSphere, MQ & Oracle products, AWSDesigning and Implementing automation solutions for scalability, repeatability and recoverabilityProven ability and experience designing and implementing advanced automation solutions using tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible Automation Platform, Github actions, Jenkins, Liquibase etc.Experience with one or more programming / script languages such as Python, GoLang, Shell, Ruby, bash, shell, PerlExperience with Containers and Container orchestration Kubernetes platforms such as PODMAN, docker, EE / OpenShift / Rancher And packaging tools such as Helm Charts and KustomizeExperience with Linux and Windows operating systemsExperience designing and implementing solutions using AWS Well-architected frameworkExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications
Development experience using Java, J2EE, Java Spring Boot, EJB, JSP, JSF / Struts, (JavaServer Faces, Apache Struts Framework), XML is a significant plusExperience with WebSphere ND, MQ, Oracle, Java, SQL tools (PL / SQL developer, SQL plus), LDAP, Splunk, Dynatrace.Duties / Responsibilities
Analyzes the technology currently being used and develops plans and processes for improvement and expansion.Implements and enhances an advanced CI / CD solution. Develops, codes, tests, builds, installs, configures, and maintains IT solutions.Analyzes processes, and deployments and proposes improvements to streamline code deployments and minimize errors.Uses configuration management software to automatically deploy updates and fixes into the various production & non-production environments.Documents processes and procedures.Support Production and Non-Production related activities and issues.Support releases and sprint related activities.Provide enterprise level solutions for existing automation in place while developing new solutions.Develop proposal plan for approval.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS :
